#0005 Newsletter | EVERLASTING TALES Playtest Announcement
EVERLASTING TALES Magazine Issue 1 | Playtest
Hello everyone,
After a five-month hiatus, the Playtest season for EVERTASTING TALES starts August 27, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. PDT for all free newsletter subscribers, right after D&D Direct. Despite the initial plan to start it between May and June, the first contact with D&D 2024 material changed my mind once it had more updates than expected.
This newsletter features the content that will be available for playtesting and the benefits of participating in the playtest, in addition to other free subscription benefits. That said, I’d like to welcome new subscribers and thank those who have kept their subscriptions.
EVERLASTING TALES Playtest
In this initial phase, the following EVERLASTING TALES Magazine issue 1’s features are available for playtesting:
Living chronicle mechanics
A new character’s background—Longshorefolk (2024 version)
A new roguish subclass—Smuggler (2024 version)
8 Living chronicle tasks
A key encounter
8 Converted creature statblocks from the 2nd edition D&D SPELLJAMMER
Playtest Material
A thirteen-page pdf will be sent to all free newsletter subscribers, in addition to a feedback form and an invitation to join EVERLASTING TALES Discord Server, where subscribers can run their games during playtest while chatting with me directly.
